How to produce high quality cassava flour from fresh cassava ?

The high quality cassava flour production equipment production process include 7 steps , the production process description as below :  

Step 1:  Cassava peeling and washing process of cassava flour production equipment

Peel and wash the cassava by cassava peeling and washing equipment to to ensure low fiber and white color of the finished product.

Step 2:  Cassava grating process of cassava flour production equipment

Grate cassava roots  in clean stainless steel grater to obtain smooth cassava mash.
The grated cassava mash must be uniformly smooth without lumps. The smoothness of the mash determines the quality, yield and market value of the finished cassava flour.

Step 3:  Pressing for dewatering process of cassava flour production equipment

The mash is loaded into sacks and pressed to remove as much moisture as possible. Pressing is completed when water is no longer dripping from the sacks.  Pressing should be done immediately after grating to avoid the onset of fermentation. The pressing time depends on the efficiency of the press and moisture content of the mash.

Step 4: Cake breaking process of cassava flour production equipment

Cake breaking is done using clean hands followed by sifting with non-rusting sifter into clean basin. It can also be done by placing the pressed cake back into the grater and disintegrate for drying.

Drying wet cassava flour  to moisture level of below 14% The drier the product the longer the storage life or the shelf life. The moisture level is the most important quality which will be examined at the point of sales. 

Drying also could be by sun drying if the quantity is not much or if the period is dry season . The ideal method of drying is the industrial dryer. The industrial dryers can drying the cassava flour with high efficiency. If the processing is during rainy season ,  the best alternative is the industrial dryer.

Step 6:  Milling and packing process of cassava flour production equipment

The cassava flour after drying will be milled again to obtain fine textured flour  ,then the fine cassava flour can be packed into bags according to buyer requirement .
